About this project

In this project, we have performed an in-depth study/research followed by a prototype fabrication of an electric scooter, and feasibility study to assess the financial prospective of e-scooter manufacturing in Nepal. This project is funded by Provincial Planning Commission, Lumbini.

Research & Development

Our research work focuses on vehicle model development on MATLAB Simulink, design of specifications, and prototype fabrication of an electric scooter from the scratch. In addition to this, we are also involved in a feasibility study to understand the financial pros and cons of e-scooter manufacturing in Nepal.

Feasibility study

The feasibility study addresses the financial aspects of establishing electric scooter’s manufacturing business in Nepal. The main purpose of this study is to assist investors, policy- makers, decision-makers, and government officials to get a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing e-scooters in the country, and decide whether to start such businesses or not. Such study also provides a prospective business model to start-up initially and grow business in the subsequent years.

Prototype Fabrication

We have been involved in the prototype fabrication of an electric scooter from the scratch. Our prototype uses in-house built frame, swing arm, and other essential components of the structure. We also aim to add several exciting features, which are innovative, user-friendly, and advantageous for riders.
